essential newsCould it be as Simple as Lavender? For the last year I have lived next door to a family from Zimbabwe. Three kids and two parents - all really active. Every time they asked me for a remedy I found myself answering, "Well, lavender would be great for that." First it was Emily (the 10-year-old) having trouble sleeping. I made her a lavender inhaler. She loved it. Then Tara (the 15-year-old) had a school presentation, and used lavender to teach about essential oils. Then came the cuts, bruises, sprains and acne. Emily wanted to bring her teacher an inhaler for stress (!) we made a lavender inhaler (purple by request). Sally, the mom, was sore from playing tennis. The solution? Epsom salts and....yup, lavender. Then there was the foam soap with lavender and the lavender room spray. Even Murray (the 13-year-old) and Brian (dad) were impressed with the results. Of course, I could have used many different oils for all of the above products and remedies, but for a family of five having one oil kept it simple. Plus everyone liked the aroma. business scentsFacebook Timeline
